Nina Pinto who has for many years done so much to bring together the local Goan community, not only in the St Boniface Parish but also those living in and around South West London, has been awarded the “Bene Merenti” Papal Award by the Holy Father Pope Benedict in recognition of her work. The award will be presented on Sunday 10th April 2011 at the 6:30pm Mass, when Area Bishop, Bishop Paul Hendricks, will celebrate Mass at St. Boniface Church.
