DESCRIPTION:The Goan Association (U.K) is pleased to invite you to the book launch of ‘A Railway Runs Through.’ The book is the outcome of the three year ‘Histories of British-Goans Project’ and forms a unique record of our history. \nThe launch will take place at 1:30 pm on Saturday May 3\, 2014 at the following address: \nSterling Suite\, HSBC Sports and Social Club. Lennard Road\, Beckenham\, Kent\, BR3 1QW. \nAmple parking available. For those travelling by rail\, the New Beckenham BR station (Travelcard Zone 4) is adjacent to this club. Thanks to a generous grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund\, 100 copies of this book will be available for distribution\, free of charge\, on this day (restricted to one copy per family) on a first come\, first serve basis.
