SATURDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2006

Early in September was the Thames Boat Cruise & Disco organised in conjunction with Young London Goans Society.  We were fortunate again to have a great evening weatherwise to appreciate the amazing sights of London by night, while dancing to the sounds of Guava Groove on the MV Golden Star.

Sunday 27th August 2006

The Sports Day, an annual success story, for which compliments should go to the organiser Peter Rodrigues and his team of dedicated helpers, not forgetting those volunteers who look after the gate and car park all
afternoon.  It has been commented that it was the best Sports Day to date. The good weather certainly helped.

The competitive spirit displayed by our up and coming athletes, bodes well for the future and we hope that some will make the Olympic Team in 2012. Our sincere thanks to all the prize sponsors for their generosity which is greatly appreciated.  The day ended with the usual disco provided by Stephanie.
