Book launch of ‘A Railway Runs Through’

The Goan Association (U.K) is pleased to invite you to the book launch of ‘A Railway Runs Through.’ The book is the outcome of the three year ‘Histories of British-Goans Project’ and forms a unique record of our history.

The launch will take place at 1:30 pm on Saturday May 3, 2014 at the following address:

Sterling Suite, HSBC Sports and Social Club. Lennard Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 1QW.

Ample parking available. For those travelling by rail, the New Beckenham BR station (Travelcard Zone 4) is adjacent to this club. Refreshments will be served at the event.

Thanks to a generous grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund, 100 copies of this book will be available for distribution, free of charge, on this day (restricted to one copy per family) on a first come, first serve basis.
